I'm surprised anything was alive in Oak Beck yesterday, Peter. When I went for the paper on Sat morning the beck was running bright yellow, which I reported to the EA. By Sunday morning it was clear again, with little damage done apparently.

Male Bearded Tit at Staveley Nature Reserve today, heard and seen in front of the Reed Hide. ( Been around for at least 3 weeks ) Cetti's Warbler and 2 Stonechats also present.
